All Sindh Youth Spelling Bee Competition – Season 03 with its final regional round held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, for the Karachi Region.
Ziauddin College – Intermediate and A Levels, in collaboration with the Directorate of Inspections and Registrations of Private Institutions Sindh, successfully concluded the All Sindh Youth Spelling Bee Competition – Season 03 with its final regional round held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, for the Karachi Region.
The event witnessed an overwhelming participation of 52 teams, each demonstrating extraordinary linguistic ability, composure, and confidence. After multiple intense rounds of spelling challenges, 17 teams qualified for Round 2, and 11 outstanding teams advanced to the Finale Round — making it one of the most competitive and thrilling regional events of the season.

🥈 2nd Position: DHA CSS College for Women
🥉 3rd Position: DHA CSS VII Campus
All winning teams were awarded cash prizes and certificates, generously sponsored by our official partner – Learning Resource Network (LRN).
The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Mrs. Rana Hussain (Former Minister of Education and Director, Ziauddin Education System), Ms. Sumra Peeran (Academics and Operations Manager – LRN, UK), Mr. Hanan Ali Shaikh, and Mr. Imdad Ali Shah (Additional and Special Secretary Education). The Chief Guest, Mr. Zahid Ali Abbasi (Secretary Education and Literacy Department, Government of Sindh), also honored the occasion with his presence.

Ziauddin College – Intermediate and A Levels, in collaboration with the Directorate of Inspections and Registrations of Private Institutions Sindh, successfully hosted Day 05 of the All Sindh Youth Spelling Bee Competition – Season 03 on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Begum Nusrat Bhutto Hall, Larkana, for the Larkana Region.
The competition witnessed remarkable participation with 21 private institutions, bringing together 62 talented participants from across the region. After several intense rounds of spelling excellence, 12 teams qualified for Round 2, and 5 outstanding teams advanced to the Finale Round.

A total of 18 dynamic teams participated in this exciting regional round. Following a series of challenging spelling battles, 12 teams qualified for Round 2, and 6 exceptional teams advanced to the Finale Round.

My name is Shahina Nazir, and I am a former student of Dr Ziauddin Intermediate College.
I was born and brought up in Africa, mainly in Uganda and Mozambique. I did my O`levels from Aga Khan High school, Kampala, Uganda.
When I moved to Pakistan it was very difficult for me to adjust because I did not know how to read and write in Urdu. The only languages I learnt in Africa were English, Portuguese and French. I was really worried that I would not be accepted in any college because of my language issue but I was lucky enough to have found a college where my weakness was not a problem.
My elder sister came across Ziauddin Intermediate college`s website and she suggested me to give it a try in this college. I discussed my queries regarding the language issue with Ma’am Naheed and she told me that this will be taken care of. I was so relieved after having talked to Ma’am.
And that is how my journey began as a student of Ziauddin Intermediate college.
