Milad was held on 11/12/2019. Eid Milad-Un-Nabi, also known as Mawlid and Eid-e-Milad is the day dedicated to the teachings of Mohammad Prophet and is celebrated across the country. A visit to ZIAUDDIN HOSPITAL was arranged for the students of Grade XII of Ziauddin Intermediate college on 16-12-2019 A batch of 80 students along with a faculty member had visited the hospital. The visit started at 09.00 am from College. We boarded the college bus to reach to Hospital. At the reception, we were welcomed by the team members of hospital. A group of 15 students was made and then a visit to the different departments of the hospital like ICU, ICCU, IN-Patient Pharmacy, canteen, pathology lab, operation theaters, emergency services etc. was arranged. A detailed explanation regarding each department was given during the visit. This was followed by a detailed presentation about the role of hospital pharmacy in hospital, drug distribution systems, inventory management and medication errors.Overall, the visit was very informative and enjoyable. We came to know regarding the role of Hospital in the overall health management
Karachities have the tendency to embrace various cultures in thyself. As Ziauddin College culture is a beautiful blend of Punjabi, Sindhi, Pathan, Balochi, Gilgit, and Kashmiri cultures. The college organized a cultural event in the supervision of some of the faculty members last year. In spite of the cultural differences, Ziauddin intermediate students celebrate the festivities with full heart and exhibit that cultural differences shouldn’t separate us from each other, but rather cultural diversity brings a collective strength that can benefit all of humanity.
I would like to inform about my personal experience about the visit to Edhi Village. This is one of the greatest trip of my life because the learning and exposure of interacting with different realities of life, like the lives of poor, handicap, disabled and orphans and how they survive in such difficult situations.
In Edhi Village, we visited schools, orphan house, disable persons area and old homes and distributed food, clothing and other beneficial stuff there. It was a very impactful creating and influencing tour not just for the teaching staff, but for the students as well.
